JAKARTA – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reminded the public of the potential for extreme weather that is expected to occur in the Central Java region during the peak of the 2025 Eid homecoming flow.
Head of BMKG Meteorological Station Ahmad Yani Semarang, Yoga Sambodo, said that the extreme weather was likely to occur in the period 26 to 30 March 2025.

“If there is a change in the weather, the latest information will be immediately submitted through the application,” he added.
Yoga also reminded that even though Central Java has entered the transition season from rain to dryness, the potential for extreme weather can still occur during the transition period. Therefore, he appealed to travelers to take advantage of the BMKG application so that they can plan trips safely and comfortably.
